If you can't access the Chrome Web Store, download the extension archive and load it manually. The steps below work for Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.

Step 1: Download the extension

Click the button below to download the latest extension archive (.zip).

Step 2: Unzip the archive

Unzip the downloaded .zip into a permanent folder. Don't delete or move that folder afterwards, or the extension will stop working.

Step 3: Open the extensions page

• Chrome: type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter
• Edge: type edge://extensions in the address bar and press Enter

Step 4: Enable developer mode

Turn on the "Developer mode" toggle on the extensions page (top-right in Chrome, bottom-left in Edge).

Step 5: Load the extension

Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder you unzipped in Step 2.

Once loaded, the Islet extension appears in your extensions list. You can pin it to the toolbar for quick access.

Troubleshooting

• Extension greyed out or broken? The unzipped folder was probably moved or deleted. Unzip the .zip again to a permanent location and reload it.
• How do I update? Download the new archive, unzip it over the original folder, then click the refresh icon on the extension card on the extensions page.
